ASSOCIATION

Euromusic has its seat in Therwil/Switzerland and was founded 1965 as a non-profit association, with the only target of supporting Jazz and its artists worldwide. Within EUROMUSIC's copyright-branch the association is a full member of SUISA Performing Rights Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers.

The foundation of EUROMUSIC was the result of long time friendship between Swiss jazz personality George Gruntz (artistic consultant) and Gérard Lüll (businessman and producer of jazz events).

During the 60ies and 70ties, EUROMUSIC produced hundreds of jazz concerts throughout Switzerland, was in charge of directing a jazzfestival and mediated dozens of contracts between artist one side, and radio-, TV- and record companies on the other side (MPS "Violin Summit", produced by Joe Berendt; "Clarke/Boland Big Band" produced by Gigi Campi, and many more).

Since most recent times EUROMUSIC concentrates on representing Mr. George Gruntz personally, as well on producing worldwide tours and recording projects of the GEORGE GRUNTZ CONCERT JAZZ BAND
